Easter

We had to wake Sleeping Beauty to see what treats the Easter Bunny had left. She was disappointed with a few of his selected placements, so she just moved those eggs.

Aaaa...you gotta love the bunny delivering weapons to small children. It's a water gun, ok.

After dressing up in our Easter dress (purple, of course), we went to Dayton's for the best egg hunt ever! They have the greatest place--chickens and red barn and everything.

Dayton took Augi for a spin in his SUV. She loves it when he crashes into things. It is the funniest thing in the world to watch these two drive around. It is just a taste of what is to come in about 14 years or so.

Comparing loot...

Yard Work

Damn lawnmower. Always getting jammed.

(This mower was a snowblower just a few months ago.)

Bunny Slippers

These little bunny slippers are the cutest thing ever. They actually weren't from the Easter Bunny--we just saw them on clearance at Target a few months ago and had to buy them. I could not get Augi to hold still so we could get a good shot. She wanted to "twirl" as I took the picture. Such a goof ball.

OK, I know this is too much skin for most of our devoted readers. But, Augi is so cute. She was saying hi to her baby brother. I was just 29 weeks here. Yes, now I am 30 weeks. 10 weeks to go. Ug. We put up the crib and changing table today. We went to Ikea for a dresser for Squig because hers is staying in her brother's room. This baby squirms all the time. I'm pretty sure he is hyperactive. Party: the real thing!

Augi had been waiting for WEEKS for her Spring Party. She made decorations, bought the treats, planned where everyone would sit. It was perfect. Dayton spent the day with us and helped decorate. Then, the rest of the cousins came over for pizza and egg dying fun. It is amazing how quickly we have grown into, and out of, this little house. I thought it was huge when we first got it. Now, we have a little party just with the cousins and it is cramped.

MMMMMMMM! Worms and mud!

It was very important to Kaedyn that we take his picture RIGHT HERE.

Party time!

Augi insisted that we have a party. She kept looking at her dad with this cheesey smile as she said, "Smile, dad!" through gritted teeth. This is her smile she inherited from her aunt Tabi. We had party hats, snacks, and decorations. It was great.

Augi has been getting ready for this big move. She hates change, so I wasn't sure we would ever convince her it is a better room. She agreed to move into the bigger bedroom (with purple carpet) as long as we painted the wall purple. She didn't expect her daddy to make a jungle grow on the walls. She was so excited today because we moved all her "stuff" in. I had my pillows on the bed and she told me to get them off because they don't match. I told her that if my pillows were kicked out, I won't sleep with her. She said, "I just sleep on my own, mom!" Duh. Moms are so lame sometimes. She will sleep there tonight! Now the smaller room is available for the baby brother.
