Tonight, at 10 pm, when Augi had been in bed for 1 1/2 hours and not yet fallen asleep, she was whining to get me to lay with her. I told her no, and here was her response a few minutes later:
"Mom, when will you quit being a dummy?"
Aaaaa. The joys of parenthood.
