Oslo, Norway Part 2

We are still in the outdoor folk museum, inside this amazing church.

They included a life-size model of a Norway Village, as it was in the 50s or so.

Augi's priority was to find a beach. The beach was really rocky and poky, but the water was warm.

Em wanted to be sure his castle was perfect from all angles.

The Kon-Tiki museum was sooooo cool. This crazy guy, Thor, made a ship of natural materials and sailed it all over the world, just to prove that this could have been done a billion years ago. Maybe my facts aren't all correct--you can look it up.

At the Fram museum they have an entire ship inside. You get to run around and explore it!

One of the last museums we visited was the natural history museum. It was wild.

They have "Ida" a 47 million year old monkey fossil, and their mascot!

We weren't prepared for this part of the museum. You pass stuffed monkeys and deer. Then, all of the sudden you are in a horror shop. It was weird, Em was terrified. Then, suddenly you are in the bird section. Crazy Norwegians.

The Munch museum was closed for some reconstruction. However, they warned us of a little volcanoe just out the front door. Don't ask me, I don't have a clue.

Augi made a friend. It didn't matter that they couldn't speak the same language. They were both 6 and blonde and cute. There was giggling and fun!
