Emmett keeps me smiling all the time. Here are a few of my favorite recent quotes:

• "Mom, have a good day at work and remember to tell me all about it when you get home!"
• Em: "Mom, go get me a drink right now." Me: "How about you try asking me in a different way?" Em: "You have legs don't you?! They ARE working, aren't they? Go get me a drink." Um, Ya...he did NOT get a drink from me.
• Upon waking in the morning: "Good morning mommy. It is like there is a desert in my mouth! I need a drink!"
