You read my title and you thought we were using bunnies as tennis balls, right?? Wrong! What sort of people do you think we are? Here is what has been going on around here…at Villa Villakulla.
Bunnies
I love my bunny, Mr. Olaf. He is the cutest little Hotot bunny ever. He LIKES to be cuddled. Seriously. He only struggles for a minute. Not really! He snuggles right in and lies his head on my shoulder. Augi has been dying to breed bunnies and grandpa has a little girl Hotot. So, we put them together and look what we got!
Little miss “Lucky” (name given by kids…heehee…if they only had the brain of a 14 year old boy like me) was 4 days late…so we were thinking she wasn’t pregnant. But, when I peeked in on her, she was pulling her hair and making a little nest.
Lucky in her birthing ward. Waiting for her Doula. She requested to go fully natural in her birthing plan. If you even mentioned an epidural she would bite you. Literally.
Less than an hour after nest building, the babies have arrived. Birthday? 15 March 2015.
5 Baby bunnies. The one on the top looked a bit funny. It was a “peanut”= it got 2 dwarf genes and wasn’t viable. The little guy lived for a week.

New baby bunnies aren’t really my favorite thing. Creepy, actually. But 10 days later…Nothing but cuteness!!!
More to come on the bunny front…
So the benefit of having a University employee in the house? FREE TICKETS!
We had the chance to watch a
pro exhibition tennis match.
We got to see a little Blake…(so Philippoussis was also there and ultimately won, but I like Blake better.)
And a little Agassi…
Thanks Chris! Totally fun night.
