Dear Friends and Family,
It is time for the annual Singleburg Holiday Letter. You know, the one where I tell you how amazingly smart my children are, how fabulous our careers are going, the trips we have taken, and the lavish home remodel projects we have done. Never a dull moment around here. Well, I wanted to include Chris and the children in the writing process this year. What better way than a MadLib?
This was a PRETTY year. The first half was spent LEAPING. Once that was taken care of, we focused on RUNNING. We took 10,000 family vacations this year, to places like MOAB, THE BUNNY’S HUTCH, and TARGET. You wouldn’t believe how good the LOLLIPOPS are in THE PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL.
Oh how the children are growing! They are now in 2nd and 5th grade. They are obviously top students. In addition to graduating 1st grade at the top of his class, Emmett is now a nationally recognized SHINY WEREWOLF. Emmett describes 2nd grade as “STINKY”. Augi, always a darling, says her 5th grade class is “FUNNY.” She is showing talent in HAPPY JUMPING, and hopes to someday make her own YouTube video about it.
As for Chris and I, our relationship has never been more BIZZARO. We celebrated our 50TH wedding anniversary by WALKING. Chris was promoted to LOVELY LEGO GUY at his job. Jessi gave up her private practice and took a new job FLYING IN SPACE.
Tiki and Phiz are SILLY and the bunnies are FAST.
As the year comes to an end, we want to wish you a COOL 2016.
