Party time!

Augi insisted that we have a party. She kept looking at her dad with this cheesey smile as she said, "Smile, dad!" through gritted teeth. This is her smile she inherited from her aunt Tabi. We had party hats, snacks, and decorations. It was great.

Augi has been getting ready for this big move. She hates change, so I wasn't sure we would ever convince her it is a better room. She agreed to move into the bigger bedroom (with purple carpet) as long as we painted the wall purple. She didn't expect her daddy to make a jungle grow on the walls. She was so excited today because we moved all her "stuff" in. I had my pillows on the bed and she told me to get them off because they don't match. I told her that if my pillows were kicked out, I won't sleep with her. She said, "I just sleep on my own, mom!" Duh. Moms are so lame sometimes. She will sleep there tonight! Now the smaller room is available for the baby brother.

Miscellaneous Fun

I tried to no make you see my naked belly, but even the maternity shirts don't cut it anymore. I am in my 7th month with this baby boy. He is a wiggly guy. He kicked for 2 hours straight during a training last week. All is well, though. I am much less anxious with this pregnancy.

I have spring fever something severe. So, when I heard the sun was going to come out for a while last weekend, we headed to the zoo. It was fun. The weather was just perfect. We didn't need hats or gloves. Although, Augi and I are generally against hats, gloves, and coats anyway. Augi is just starting to wear socks, btw. She likes them big and she doesn't care if they are bunched up in her shoes. That would drive me up a wall, but if it gets her little pigs warm--I won't complain. However, she did just about start crying the other day because her daddy was wearing two different socks. Weirdo. I agree.

She isn't quite there, but she is growing! Hopefully she won't have quite the same shape as our primate friend.

There were peacocks all over. Augi didn't want to get too close to this one, but she really wanted me to take her picture by him.
I love this cheesy attempt at a smile. She gets it from her aunti Tabifa.

I am not sure exactly what was going on here. It is a little evidence of what happens when mom is at work and Augi stays with dad. I first thought, hmmmm, maybe she is taking a family picture? But, it sort of looks like a criminal line up. Check out Augi's bed head.

Nanny loves to sunbathe on the stairs. She gets all lethargic and dehydrated and can't move after a while. Chris thought maybe Augi could lie down there with her and it would help her fall to sleep. No such luck. Nanny does look stylish with her hat and scarf, don't you agree. She couldn't really move because of the heat stroke kicking in...

Digging out of the Snow

Can you believe this snow pile? I don't believe it will melt until June.
Augi loves it. It is hard to get her to come inside.

Snow Days

This is a few weeks late...Happy New Year's Eve! My grandfather used to take pictures of my aunt with a sign behind her like this. I'm sure I could do something much more sophisticated with a photoediting program, but this is easy.

We made a snowman! Well, to be PC it is more of a snow person. It's face finally melted yesterday, so it doesn't look quite so cute now. Augi was very proud.

Chris thought this was funny. It was naptime. Apparently, I stole Augi's "cuddly". She loves her lamb stuffed animal. I guess I sort of like it too.

Posing with her Bobo. She loves this bunny so much. He is getting more fun since he lost his manly bits just after Christmas. We can't let him upstairs anymore, though. He thinks Daddy's computer bag makes a nice chew toy. Downstairs he just attacks my magazines. Poor nanny hates him.
I need to share some Augi stories. Although, most of you have heard them already. She is only just warming up to the idea of a baby brother. Our conversation about names went a little like this:
"Augi, we need to think of a name for our baby boy. What should we call him?"
(mean little grouchy face) "I call him Dirl!!!" (Dirl is Augish for Girl).
Grandpa has been teasing her about having a brother. She told me he was being "noxious" to her. Tonight she told him, "No talk at me grandpa." She loves every minute of his teasing, though.

Happy Holidays

It is a good thing I am looking at all of these cute pictures of my happy smiling child right now. Why? Some of her tantrums make me question my ability to be a psychologist. I hear Target has really good benefits.

Wrastlin' with her BFF

We visited Addie today. Augi and Addie were fighting over a pair of shoes. Or maybe a boy. In the end, their friendship prevailed.

November is Over!

She is such a spaz.

Playing with cousins on Thanksgiving

Posing next to the Christmas Tree box. She made me put it up already!!

It has been nearly a month! I have been so incredibly sick that I haven't had one ounce of motivation to update this blog. Lifting my arm is work. But, I am feeling a thousand times better. I have regular moments of sickness. And, don't let me get hungry. Tears and claws will both come out. You might want to keep Nutter Butters in your pocket if you are near me--just in case I get a little hungry.

I don't have a whole lot to say today. Augi has some great new phrases. She is fully weaned now. Yes, I know, it is about time. But, it wasn't easy. We weren't ready. Well, I was. She wasn't. For a week or so she didn't want me near her at night because she was so mad at me. She would say, "go away mommy!" Now, she is better. She likes to cuddle again.

My favorite Augi-ism is, "Stopping talking at me!" The other night I called to her when she cried out. She told me to stopping talking at her. A few minutes later I called out again and asked if she was ok. She said, "No! You aren't stopping talking at me!!" Apparently I just needed to shut up and let her fuss! Geez.

Happy Happy Halloween

Halloween just wouldn't be fun without cousins!

Grandma Farr at AppleTree, visit #1

Tanner (aka "Super Why") and Augi

Augi, Libby, and Olivia. Augi was trying to flee the area. Olivia is just a few weeks older than Augi. Augi calls Libby her little sister.

Mall Rat

These pictures are a little out of order, but you get the idea. Today was so freakin' busy, I'm glad it is over. We started out at 9:00 AM at my work, then to musikgarten, Appletree with the Baldwin family and practically their whole neighborhood. (Augi has this life away from us that I am just becoming aware of. I met all her little neighbor friends. But, they aren't our neighbor friends. They are Tanner and Libby's neighbor friends. Weird.). Then, home for a nap. After a short nap, it was lunch and play at home for a while. Then, out to the bank, to the mall, back to Appletree to see Grandma Farr, and last of all trick or treatin' at Grandma Mee-mee's. 12 hours later, we were home. Whew. Augi fell asleep quickly after a screaming kicking fit. Poor thing. Comin' down off the sugar can be brutal.

Grandma's Birthday

Augi was thrilled to hold "Baby In-ya" last night. Funny, I think India weighs as much as Augi and she crawls now. So, it wasn't easy, but we got a few cute shots. Augi lived in her feety jammies this weekend. We played hooky from work/daycare today. Augi woke up at 4 am with a tummy ache-I think it was the chocolate birthday cake. We didn't get back to sleep until just before I had to get up for work. I was tired and I feel like crap with this cold, tummy troubles, and morning sickness. So, I called in. We stayed in bed until 10. Now, Augi is having a super late nap. She won't be to bed until 9, I bet. Ug. I need a nanny.

Hi!

OK. Simmer down. I am writing again. Even Grandpa Albert is complaining. This little picture is a self-portrait with the timer on my camera. Squig and I had a mommy daughter day at the zoo on Sunday. It was fun. She freakin' loves the train. I have been avoiding posting for a few reasons--first of all I have been really busy filling in at the Health Department. I am also starting a support group for parents of kiddos with autism on Saturday. And, for those of you who already know, I have been very sick with the Egyptian flu. You know, the one that makes you sick for 9 months, then you turn into a mummy. Ha ha. For those of you that didn't know, (you know who you are in Greeley, Denver, and Spearfish), if you don't call me back I can't tell you the news.

Now you know.

I was feeling really crampy this week, so I saw my o.b. She said I am just crampy, and she showed me the heart beat on ultrasound. That was a good feeling, sort of. I would have liked her to give me a little pill that would make all of the nausea and bloating and back pain and cramping go away. She didn't.

I took Augi to the pediatrician yesterday for some issues she was having. No problem with her either. Apparently I am a hypochondriac. Oh brother.

As for more updates, I dont' have much right now. Enjoy the pics. They speak for themselves.
