Day 3: Blackgang Chine

What the H*LL is a Blackgang Chine, you say? I'm actually still not sure what it means, but it was a really cool amusement park. According to Wiki, a chine is a coastal ravine. Apparently this USED to be a coastal ravine. However, there have been several mudslides that have wiped it out, so it keeps getting moved back and repaired. It was fun in a way that only the Brits know how to do fun. Fairy Castles and the Mouth of Hell all in one.

And, of course, you always need a Mouth of Hell randomnly placed in a children's park.

 There was a crooked man who lived in a crooked little house....Damn. I can't remember how the poem goes. Anyway, it was written on the walls inside.

 The Rumpus Mansion was too scary for my children, but Evan forced his children to go through it. They'll be better off in the end, right? Poor kids.

 Fairyland was very fun. There were 6 or so little houses, each with a different fairy theme.

 Augi was looking forward to this maze all day. She has been fascinated by them since we let her watch the Shining.

 Calm down!!! I was totally kidding about the shining. She has been fascinated by mazes, though.

 Augi went on her first, and likely her last, roller coaster. Evan and Ava are 3rd from the front in this pic, Augi and Chris are about 7th. Zoom in on Augi. She was absolutely terrified.
